Chadathip marries Paelan, the eldest son of the prominent Thai-Chinese Wattanalawad family. Expecting an heir, patriarch Cherngchai is bitter when she gives birth to an autistic son, followed by a daughter. Relegated to the lowest rank in the household, Chadathip leaves her job to care for her son and her ageing father-in-law, enduring years of constant humiliation. The breaking point comes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cherngchai insists on holding the Qing Ming rites as usual, dumping all the preparation onto an exhausted Chadathip. When she asks to call off the ceremony, Cherngchai explodes, viciously berating both her and her son. The intense argument causes the boy to misunderstand his mother; overwhelmed and hurt, he runs away and suffers a fatal accident. When not a single family member offers help or even attends the boy's funeral, Chadathip’s grief turns into calculated fury—igniting a ruthless quest for revenge against the dynasty that discarded them.
