City of Stars

Synopsis

Do you know an American social media app called Zendaya? It is a social networking platform with one rule: every post must contain positive content. Because of this restriction, the app has never been particularly popular. That is, until Thailand’s number-one villain, Fueng Nakhon, signs up and publishes his very first post: “Let’s spread some positive vibes!” Suddenly, Zendaya is flooded with Thai users and becomes an instant sensation. User numbers in Thailand grow so rapidly that even Zendaya’s small office in Silicon Valley begins to feel the shockwaves. Krom Thao, a long-suffering Thai employee at Zendaya, had planned to return to Thailand for a relaxing break. Instead, he finds himself working around the clock to manage an app that has unexpectedly become a massive hit. And just when things couldn’t get any more complicated, who should show up at his front door, ringing the doorbell? None other than Fueng Nakhon himself—the very man responsible for turning Krom Thao’s vacation into anything but a vacation; asking to come in and enjoy his mother’s home-cooked meals.
