Synopsis

Tanyong', a recent graduate who failed to secure a master's degree scholarship, takes a job in the Editorial Department of a magazine publisher. There, she encounters 'Sandeuan', her high school senior who once confessed feelings for her but was rejected. Tanyong was raised by her grandmother and mother, who taught her to hate her father because he was LGBTQ and married her mother despite this. Due to this experience, both her grandmother and mother harbor strong prejudice against LGBTQ individuals. As Tanyong works closely with Sandeuan, they gradually grow closer. Tanyong appreciates that Sandeuan never uses her past rejection as leverage at work, instead teaching her gently and warmly. Though Tanyong tries to deny her growing feelings for Sandeuan because of her family's prejudices, she finds she cannot. When her grandmother and mother discover her relationship with Sandeuan, it coincides with her receiving a scholarship to study in the UK. They decide to end their relationship, and at their farewell, Sandeuan encourages Tanyong to focus on her studies and return when she's financially independent. Then she'll be free to love whoever she chooses without family interference.
