JittiRain at Y/Con Paris 2025: Bringing Thai Stories to the World

Stories have the power to cross borders, connect cultures, and bring people together through shared emotions and experiences.

In 2025, Thai BL author JittiRain became the first Thai author to participate in Y/Con Paris, France’s major event celebrating LGBTQ+ art and culture. Her participation marked a meaningful milestone for Thai storytelling and its growing presence in the international literary community.

Across two days in Paris, the event created opportunities for JittiRain to meet readers, connect with international fans, and share the stories that have resonated with audiences beyond Thailand. The warm reception highlighted the growing interest in Thai BL and the communities that form around the stories and characters readers love.

This milestone reflects the opportunities available when Thai stories reach new markets. Through international publishing, translation rights, and cross-border partnerships, Jamsai Agency aims to help more Thai stories find readers around the world.

From Thai stories to global opportunities.
